The Invitation
Power Down is a nightly ritual of unwinding — a gentle, guided practice to help you transition from the fullness of the day into rest.
Rather than ending our evenings overstimulated and scrolling, we gather to slow the nervous system, soften the body, and reconnect with what’s essential. This is a practice of checking in — with breath, with body, with presence.
As we enter the Lunar New Year — a time aligned with the return of light, the stirrings of spring, and natural renewal — we root into habits that feel sustainable and nourishing.
This offering is especially for these times. Being human right now is not easy. Power Down is a soft place to land.
Why the Lunar New Year
The January 1st New Year arrives in the heart of winter — a season meant for rest, not reinvention. Asking ourselves to radically change during the darkest, coldest time of year can feel counterintuitive and exhausting.
The Lunar New Year, however, meets us closer to spring. There is more light. More breath. More readiness.
This practice honors that rhythm — inviting renewal that emerges naturally, rather than through force.
The Practice
Each evening session is designed to be gentle, grounding, and spacious.
You can expect:
Very gentle movement (accessible and optional)
Grounding, calming breathwork
Guided meditation
Spaciousness and rest
A screen-optional, audio-only container
Throughout the three weeks, you’ll also receive journal prompts to support reflection and integration.
A candle, journal, and a book are lovely companions for this practice.
